Take care

Posted: July 28, 2010 in Umum

Some of us always use the phrase “take care” and some of us not.

take care  To be careful

take care of  To assume responsibility for the maintenance, support, or treatment of.

take care  (when leaving) good-bye (literally, take care of yourself)

  • According to me:
  1. to anyone that we are close to. Just a wish for their well being.
  2. to our friends that we seldom contact. At the end of the conversation we wish ‘take care’. Which means, hope to hear from you soon.
  3. to our colleague or studymates . This is when we are going for a long holiday.. hehehe
  4. to whom ever that suppose to be so close to us. Which means, I need my time alone. Will contact you when I can keep myself together.
  5. …different tone of saying it can means differently.. right?

Anyhow.. that’s what I think. For people that always use the interjection, it just mean “I’m very concern about you and wish you all the best!”

So, what's your take care means?
